Social Media Marketing

In 2023, I had the opportunity to accelerate my career in Social Media Marketing while working with the renowned skincare brand, Obagi Medical. This experience has significantly enhanced my expertise within the marketing, pr, and influencer fields.

Currently, I serve as the sole strategist and social organic lead, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social strategies that align with key business objectives. My role encompasses monitoring social data and analytics, planning and executing month-long campaigns, curating and scheduling content across all social media platforms, and providing insights on channel performance and community engagement. Additionally, I offer trend analysis, track competitor activities, ideate brand partnerships, and manage community interactions.

As a content creator and copywriter, I produce both educational and engaging content, ensuring it resonates with audiences across all platforms. My skill set and. creativity expanded to incorporate UGC and influencer management via Cohley to amplify brand awareness and drive audience engagement.

  • I have played a key role in building and growing Obagi's TikTok presence from the ground up, contributing to a significant increase in follower engagement. To scale content production, I manage a diverse team of UGC creators and influencers, overseeing various campaigns aligned with the brand's monthly skincare focus.

    In this role, I serve as a content creator, strategist, data analyst, social media manager, coordinator, and brand ambassador, ensuring a cohesive and impactful brand presence across digital platforms.

    Influencer/Videographer

    As part of Obagi Medical's launch of Daily Hydro-Drops® Rejuvenating Eye Gel Cream, I took the initiative to source a videographer to enhance the teaser and reveal of the product on Obagi's social media channels. I successfully partnered with content creator Ayana Sprowl to produce two engaging videos—one focused on the new product and the other showcasing a product collection. This collaboration received positive feedback from both the brand's Chief Marketing Officer and Obagi’s parent company, Waldencast.

  • Cohley Influencers

    Through the Cohley platform, I have managed numerous influencer briefs for various Obagi Medical brand campaigns. In these roles, I serve as both project manager and lead editor, while also acting as the primary point of contact for each influencer. These campaigns have significantly contributed to our brand awareness, reach, and follower growth. Additionally, many of the influencers I collaborate with are often referred to our Influencer team for potential inclusion in their roster for organic seeding efforts.

  • Cohley UGC Creators

    In addition to managing influencer briefs, I also oversee all User-Generated Content (UGC) briefs for Obagi Medical, often at a faster pace. Similar to influencer briefs, I serve as the project manager, lead editor, and primary point of contact for UGC creators. These videos are curated for Obagi Medical's social media library, ensuring a consistent and diverse content flow.
